Beta Terms & Safety

These terms apply to the United States beta of CoachSplit and supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. By using CoachSplit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Beta Service

CoachSplit is currently provided free of charge for evaluation and testing. Beta features may be incomplete, inaccurate, interrupted, changed, or removed. CoachSplit may suspend or end beta access and may introduce paid plans in the future. Any future purchase or subscription will be presented separately.

Age and Authority

CoachSplit is not available to children under 13 during this beta. A coach creating or managing athlete records confirms that the coach is authorized by the applicable school, team, organization, athlete, parent, or guardian to create and manage those records. Coaches must not enter information about a child under 13.

Training and Medical Safety

CoachSplit is an organizational and training-record tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for professional coaching judgment. Running and athletic training involve risks, including serious injury. Coaches, athletes, parents, and guardians remain responsible for training decisions, supervision, medical clearance, and obtaining advice from qualified professionals. Do not use CoachSplit for emergencies.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for information they enter, record accuracy, protecting account access, and using CoachSplit lawfully. Users must not enter information they are not authorized to manage; impersonate another person; misuse invitations or account-linking tools; attempt unauthorized access; harass others; or threaten safety, privacy, or system integrity.

Privacy

Use of CoachSplit is also governed by the CoachSplit Privacy Policy. Coaches should collect only information reasonably needed to manage their teams. Sensitive medical, emergency-contact, or minor-related information should not be entered unless necessary and authorized.

No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachSplit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or noninfringement. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoachSplit and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill; training decisions; missed communications; or injuries arising from reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and Termination

CoachSplit may update these terms as the service changes. Material revisions may require renewed acceptance. Access may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the beta.
